My father took a course in hypnosis when I was five. I grew up seeing him use it to help family and friends overcome personal problems and pain, so I've always believed in the power of the subconscious.
After working in various aspects of television and film for years, I had a growing desire to do something that would make a difference for people -- something that I really believed in.
One day, the answer suddenly came into clear focus: I believe in hypnosis. Then things moved fast -- a Google search, enrollment at HMI (Hypnosis Motivational Institute), a one-year course that I did nights and weekends while working two jobs – and now I’ve been working as a Certified Hypnotherapist for several years.
I’m grateful to my open-minded parents who taught me about the power of the mind. And I’ve named my business McKenzie Hypnosis because I feel like I’m carrying the torch that my dad handed off to me.
Hypnosis is an amazing tool that can help you achieve what you want and live life more fully. I would love to help you achieve whatever is important to you.
Our sessions have helped me completely change my attitude toward food and I’ve lost over 35 pounds. More importantly, I actually want to eat well rather than having to struggle constantly to make those choices. This has turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself!

Tina is amazing! She helped me overcome extreme fear and anxiety about the dentist. Thanks to her skill and guidance, I was able to go to the dentist for the first time in more than a decade.

For 13 years, I had been filing tax return extensions which cost me penalty fees. Not smart. So last year, I saw Tina for procrastination. After a couple of sessions, I found myself organizing my tax materials without any of the emotional turmoil that the task used to create, and I filed well before April 15th. This year, my taxes were completed by the end of March. In my world, that is a miracle.

I am not new to hypnosis. I've used it to manage stress and keep negative mental chatter under control. I like Tina because she understands how the mind works and gives you the tools to improve your own mental fitness. She works with you to identify the obstacles that hold you back so you can overcome them, and puts you in control of you. She has the “mental floss” for your psychic hygiene.
